For land annexed to the village following enactment of this Zoning Code, such land shall automatically become zoned, without payment of a fee, in the Limited Density Residential District (R-1) if such land is undeveloped. The property owner and/or his or her representative shall in all cases reserve the right to apply for any desired zoning map amendment of the land following the effective date of the annexation. If the land is developed or occupied by a use other than agriculture, an application shall be filed by the property owner and/or his or her representative to amend the zoning map within 30 days of the effective date of the annexation.
