§ 152.084 PROTECTION OF HISTORIC PROPERTIES.
   Where a subdivision is proposed to be located in an area designated as an Historic District by the village, or where any historic place, building, structure, work of art, or similar object listed on the Ohio Historic Inventory, the National Register of Historic Places, or the village’s Historic Preservation Plan, exists on the tract, a plan for protection and preservation of the historic property shall be prepared by the applicant and submitted to the Historic Preservation Board of the village by the Planning Commission for review and comment before approval of any plat is granted. The Village Planning Commission, with the advice of the Historic Preservation Board, may modify or reject the preservation plan. For tracts located within a designated Historic District of the village, the Historic Preservation Board shall issue a certificate of appropriateness as provided by the Zoning Code of the village before approval of any plat is granted (see §§ 153.080 through 153.094 of these codified ordinances).
