Street lighting shall be required and shall be designed, selected, and installed by the subdivider following the recommendations of the current Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) handbook in accordance with a lighting plan approved by the village. Illumination provided shall be uniform and compatible with adjacent light sources. Energy efficient lamps, controlled by dusk-to-dawn photocells, are required unless otherwise directed by the Village Engineer. Selection of fixtures shall be approved by the Planning Commission.
