§ 112.010 INSURANCE REQUIRED.
   No license shall be issued hereunder unless the applicant files evidence of dram shop liability insurance covering the entire period of the license in the form of a certificate of insurance issued by an insurance company authorized to do business in the state. The insurance shall insure the applicant and owner or lessor of the premises in such amounts as may be required by the Liquor Control Act of 1934, being 235 ILCS 5/1-1 et seq., or in an amount of not less than $1,000,000, whichever is greater. The certificate shall be submitted to the Local Liquor Commissioner upon application for or renewal of the liquor license.
