(A) The size, slope, alignment, materials of construction of the sewer, methods to be used in the excavation, placing of the pipe, jointing, testing, and backfilling the trench shall all conform to the requirements of the Building and Plumbing Codes or other applicable rules and regulations of the village.
(B) In the absence of code provisions or in amplification thereof, materials and procedures set forth in the appropriate specifications of the American Society of Testing Materials, “Water Pollution Control Federation Manual of Practice #9,” and “Standard Specifications for Water and Sewer Main Constructions in Illinois” shall apply.
