The operator of every shelter for the homeless shall, if it is serving meals, comply with all of the applicable health, safety and food service rules, regulations and standards set by the County Health Department and/or the City through its ordinances. All food is to be prepared in a kitchen. Such kitchen must comply with all of the requirements of the applicable regulations of the City, including, but not limited to, the Michigan Building Code, the County Health Department Regulations and the National Fire Code.
