Every room occupied for sleeping purposes by one person in a shelter for the homeless constructed after the effective date of this chapter shall contain at least seventy square feet of floor space and every room occupied for sleeping purposes by more than one person shall contain at least seventy square feet of floor space for each occupant thereof. Such dormitory rooms shall have a minimum of three feet of floor space between beds and the beds shall be accessible by aisle at least three feet in width.
