830.12 TENDER OF DEBT AND COSTS BEFORE SALE.
   If, at any time before the disposition of the item pledged or pawned, the borrower pays or tenders to the pawnbroker the debt and interests and charges on the item, that payment or tender reinvests the pawner with the title and right of possession to the property pledged.

830.13 DESTRUCTION OR DEFACING PAWNED PROPERTY.
   No pawnbroker shall deface, scratch, obliterate, melt, separate or break into parts any particle or thing received by him in pawn or otherwise, or in any manner do, cause or suffer to be done by others, anything which shall destroy or tend to destroy the identity of such article or render the identification thereof more difficult.

830.14 ACCEPTANCE OF PROPERTY FROM MINOR.
   A pawnbroker shall not receive for pawn any article from any person under eighteen years of age or a person the pawnbroker suspects as having stolen the article to be pawned.

830.15 BUSINESS ON SUNDAY.
   No person shall conduct or engage in the business of a pawnbroker in the City on the first day of each week, commonly called Sunday.

830.16 ACTION ON PAWNBROKER'S BOND.
   If any person shall be aggrieved by the conduct of any such licensed pawnbroker, and shall recover judgment against him therefore, such person may, after the return unsatisfied, either in whole or in part, of any execution issued upon said judgment, maintain an action in his own name upon the bond of the said pawnbroker in any court having jurisdiction of the amount of said judgment remaining unsatisfied.

830.17 APPLICABILITY OF STATE LAW.
   A pawnbroker licensed under this chapter shall be subject to any further applicable State law regulations and is hereby put on notice of the existence of same as found in Michigan Compiled Laws.

830.99 VIOLATION.
   (a)   Any person, corporation, or member or members of a copartnership or firm who shall be convicted of a violation of this chapter shall have his license revoked by the City Council and no part of the license fee paid shall be returned to him, and no further license as a pawnbroker shall be granted to the person for the period of one year from the date of such revocation.
   (b)   Any person, corporation, or member or members of a copartnership or firm who violates any portion of this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be subject to the penalty provided in Section 202.99.
