660.99 PENALTY.
   (EDITOR'S NOTE: See Section 202.99 for general Code penalty if no specific penalty is provided.)
   (a)   Any patron who fails to return material belonging to the City of Wayne Public Library or the reasonable value thereof within thirty days of notice pursuant to Section 660.12(b) is guilty of a misdemeanor and shall upon conviction thereof be fined not more than three hundred dollars ($300.00) plus the replacement costs of the loaned properties or a similar item, or imprisoned not more than thirty days, or both as determined by the court.
   Any parent or guardian of a minor who fails to return material belonging to the City of Wayne Public Library or the reasonable value thereof within thirty days of notice pursuant to Section 660.12(c) is guilty of a misdemeanor and shall upon conviction thereof be fined not more than three hundred dollars ($300.00) plus the replacement costs of the loaned properties or a similar item, or imprisoned not more than thirty days, or both as determined by the court.
   Whoever violates or fails to comply with any of the provisions of Section 660.12 for a second time within a three-year period is guilty of a misdemeanor and shall upon conviction thereof be fined not more than five hundred dollars ($500.00) or imprisoned not more than ninety days, or both as determined by the court.

   (b)   Whoever, being a minor, violates any of the provisions of Section 660.14 shall be dealt with in accordance with Juvenile Court law and procedure.
