725.01 DEFINITIONS.
   "Peddlers" as used in this chapter, means all persons who travel from place to place about the City carrying with them and offering for sale articles or merchandise; "hawkers" means all persons who sell or offer for sale any goods, wares or merchandise on the streets by outcry, or by attracting the attention of persons by exposing their goods in a public place or by placards, labels, or signals; "solicitors" means all persons who travel from place to place, or from house to house about the City soliciting orders for goods, wares and merchandise by retail for future delivery.
