933.01 TAP-IN FEES.
   (a)   Any person desiring a tap for new water service to their residence shall make application to the Director of Public Service on a form to be provided by the Director of Public Service.
 
   (b)   The cost for the tap for new water service shall be as follows:
      (1)   A front footage charge of twelve dollars ($12.00) per front foot of the lot or land to be served by such tap.
      (2)   In the event boring under a roadway is necessitated by said tap, an additional charge of all costs of labor and materials for installing the tap.

      (3)   For all taps of one (1) inch or under, an additional fee based on a rate which shall be determined by the Director of Public Service each December 1st for the following year.
      (4)   For all taps over six (6) inches, a fee in the amount set forth in Section 933.01 (b)(3) and an additional fee which shall include the costs of all labor and materials for installing the tap.

      (5)   Water users outside the Municipality shall pay one hundred fifty percent (150%) of the above charges.
      (6)   An inspection fee of thirty-five dollars ($35.00).
   (c)   In the event an applicant desires water service from a water line installed by the owner and at the owner’s expense or by a predecessor in interest of the owner and at the predecessor’s expense, said applicant shall not be required to pay the fee set forth in subsection (a)(1) hereof.

   (d)   Any individual who owns property which is not adjacent to nor abuts an existing water main and who desires water service shall pay for all costs, including but not limited to, engineering, labor and materials, associated with the extension of the water service to the property in question.
