7-3-8: ACTS BY PERSONS UNDER ELEVEN:
Where an act of VANDALISM, as defined in section 7-3-1 of this chapter, is committed by a person under the age of eleven (11) years and where the court finds that any parent or legal guardian has neglected said person in an irresponsible manner, or has permitted or acquiesced in a violation of the curfew laws at the time of the occurrence of the act of vandalism by the person under the age of eleven (11) years, or has irresponsibly failed or neglected to exercise a reasonable degree of supervision over the person, it shall be deemed that the parent or legal guardian shall have committed an act of VANDALISM, as defined in section 7-3-1 of this chapter, and shall be subject to the penalties as set forth in section 7-3-4 of this chapter.
