905.02  CUTTING AND CLEARING REQUIRED.
No person, whether as owner, lessee, agent, tenant or otherwise having charge or care of land within the Municipality, shall permit noxious weeds or other undesirable vegetation, including grasses, to grow thereon to a height in excess of 12 inches; or shall permit such noxious weeds or other undesirable vegetation to mature or spread seeds or pollen therefrom.  However, certain parcels of land may be, upon application to and approval by the Municipal Administrator, exempted from the provisions of this chapter where such parcels are dedicated to and officially designated as park lands for the preservation of natural wild life; or where geographic contours or other terrain features of a part of any parcel of land would make compliance with the provisions of this chapter an extreme hardship as to that specific portion of the land.  Land that is designed to be used for the retention or detention of stormwater shall also be exempted from the provisions of this chapter.  Specifically, the vegetation on all lands adjoining or contiguous with the intersection of any road or highway shall be cut, as required by this section, to prevent the growth of any vegetation which would obscure the visibility or vision of road or highway users or otherwise create any traffic hazard.
