2-6-2: TERMS:

Commissioners shall serve six (6) year staggered terms as established by Iowa Code section 400.1. However, no member of said commission shall serve more than two (2) consecutive terms and shall not be reappointed to a third term unless said member has not served on any board or commission of the city for a minimum of one year before reappointment to any board or commission. (Ord. 4159, 3-18-1996)
