The abutting property owner shall be required to maintain all public rights-of-way between the property line and the edge of roadway or curb line upon the public streets. This shall include, but not be limited to, sidewalk maintenance and repair, keeping the ground at a level grade with the street, keeping the area free of holes, fences, litter, debris, all loose materials and all other obstructions, except the abutting property owner is not required to remove diseased trees or dead wood. The abutting property owner may be liable for damages caused by failure to maintain the sidewalk and right-of-way. (Ord. 5405, 6-26-2017)
