ORDINANCE NO. 5748

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CITY OF WATERLOO CODE OF ORDINANCES BY AMENDING TITLE 9, BUILDING REGULATIONS, CHAPTER 4, PLUMBING REGULATIONS, ARTICLE A. PLUMBING CODE, SECTION 9-4A-2, AMENDMENTS, BY ADDING SUBSECTION 715.1.2.

   BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA AS FOLLOWS:

   Section 1. That Section 715 of Title 9, Building Regulations, of Chapter 4, Plumbing Regulations, Article A. Plumbing Code, Section 9-4A-2, Amendments, is amended by adding subsection 715.1.2, as follows:

   715.1.2 For a new building or structure, the building sewer beginning two (2) feet from the structure, shall be SCH 40 PVC, PVC SDR 23.5, or cast iron soil pipe to the sewer main.

        Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and

publication as provided by law.
