Any sign, marquee or advertising device erected, constructed or maintained in violation of any requirement of this chapter shall be removed within five days after receipt, by the person responsible for the violation and to the owner of the property where the sign, marquee or advertising device is located, on a written order from the Building Official requiring the action.
