(A) No projecting sign overhanging a public street or a public passageway shall extend above the top of a cornice, parapet wall or wall, as the case may be, nor in front of any building or structure except as provided in division (B) of this section and as otherwise provided in this chapter.
(B) No projecting sign shall extend more than six feet beyond the face of the building or structure, regardless of the location of the building line, and shall not be less than ten feet in the clear above the level of the sidewalk beneath.
