§ 151.11 DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY OF CITY.
   (A)   Neither the city, nor any department thereof, nor any board, shall be responsible for any damage or injury to the person, building, structure, premises or property of any person or to any electric wiring, conductor, device, appliance, apparatus or equipment whether caused by, resulting from or arising out of any inspection or approval of any such electrical work or equipment, or the issuance of any certificate of inspection made, rendered or issued pursuant to the provisions of this chapter.
   (B)   Any inspection or approval or certificate thereof made, rendered or issued hereunder, is made, rendered or issued solely to foster and secure, in favor of the city compliance by other persons with the provisions of this chapter, and the fact of the inspection, approval or issuance of certificate is hereby expressly declared not to be, and not to be deemed, a warranty or assurance to, or on behalf of, any other person or body, public or private.
