§ 150.32 STOPPING USE OF DEFECTIVE APPLIANCES.
   If any installation or use of any gas piping or of any gas appliance shall be found by the Fire Marshal to constitute a condition dangerous to life or property, according to the standards of safety provided in this subchapter, and if any gas piping or any gas appliance shall be found by the Fire Marshal to be in disrepair and defective so as to constitute a condition dangerous to life or property according to the standards of safety provided in this subchapter, he may require the person having control of the same to discontinue the use thereof while remaining in the condition and, in addition, may require the utility company supplying gas to the premises in which the gas piping or appliance is located to discontinue service to the premises for so long as the dangerous condition shall continue.
