§ 150.30 COMPLIANCE WITH STATE LAW.
   The installation of gas piping and gas appliances in all buildings shall comply with the statutes of the state, any orders, rules and regulations issued by authority thereof, the provisions of any other provision of this chapter or applicable ordinance, and with reasonable standards of safety to persons and property. In the absence of any statute or ordinance governing the installation, conformity with the standards set forth in Pamphlet 221.30, entitled American Standard Installation of Gas Piping and Gas Appliances in Buildings, dated December 5, 1950, on file in the office of the City Clerk, and any amendments thereof, hereafter filed in the office, shall be deemed a compliance with reasonable standards of safety to persons and property.
