§ 150.17 REFRIGERATION AND AIR CONDITIONING PERMIT FEES.
   (A)   The refrigeration permit fee shall be based on the cost of the refrigeration unit and shall be set forth in the schedule of fees and charges attached to the annual budget of the city, pursuant to § 41.11 of the code.
      (1)   The fees shall include all refrigeration with the exception of domestic refrigerators and freezers.
      (2)   Notwithstanding anything to the contrary, there shall be no fee charged in cases where the cost is less than $100.
   (B)   The air conditioning permit fee shall be based on the cost of the air conditioning unit and shall be set forth in the schedule of fees and charges attached to the annual budget of the city, pursuant to § 41.11 of the code.
      (1)   Additionally, a fee as set forth in the schedule of fees, charges, penalties and rewards attached to the annual budget of the city, pursuant to § 41.11 of this code shall be charged for each air-conditioning unit of the portable type which is contained in its own permanently built-in compartments and has its own source of electric supply, regardless of voltage. The fee shall apply whether or not built-in compartments contain units.
      (2)   There shall be no fee for the portable type air-conditioning units installed in windows of residential establishments.
      (3)   Notwithstanding anything to the contrary, there shall be no fee charged in cases where the cost is less than $100.
