§ 113.02 JEWELRY AUCTION LICENSE AND FEE.
   (A)   All persons licensed by the Commissioner of State Police to sell jewelry at auction under the provisions of Conn. Gen. Stat. § 21-3 shall, in addition thereto, secure a license from the Mayor to sell jewelry at auction and shall pay therefor a license fee as set forth in the schedule of fees, charges, penalties and rewards attached to the annual budget of the city, pursuant to § 41.11 of this code. Said fee shall be for each day for the period of the license.
   (B)   The fee shall be paid to the Mayor and shall be turned over by him to the Tax Collector, who shall deposit the same with the City Treasurer to the account of the city.
   (C)   The fees shall be used for the employment of a police officer or officers and for a jewelry expert, appointed by the Mayor in order to prevent fraud from being perpetrated upon the public.
