Every employee of the Department of Education is required to undergo a skin test for tuberculosis before the start of his employment and every two years thereafter with the exception that the skin test may be waived by the Director of Health of the city if a licensed physician certifies that such an examination would be harmful to the employee or the skin test is in conflict with his religious beliefs.
