(A) The physical distribution requirements of this subchapter are not intended to abrogate current regulations if the regulations are equal to or higher than the requirements called for in this subchapter, or to abrogate any regulations for applications and occupancies not covered by this subchapter.
(B) The number and type of fire extinguishers required to protect a property shall be no less than the requirements set forth in the publication Standards for the Installation of Portable Fire Extinguishers, National Fire Protection Association No. 10 (USASI Z112.1 - most recent edition).
(C) Fire extinguishers which have been converted from one type of classification to another type of classification shall not be acceptable in meeting the requirements of this subchapter. The extinguishers shall be removed from service.
