(A) All connections from city mains to fire systems on private property shall be provided with a gate valve and check valve to be installed either in the building accessible to inspection and repair or in a manhole of sufficient size to permit convenient access for inspection and repair.
(B) A bypass shall be connected around that gate valve which is installed on private property and shall be provided with a valve and meter.
(C) All material and labor shall be furnished by the owner of the property at his own expense.
(D) Construction, location and installation of all connections herein provided for shall be subject to the approval of the Bureau of Water.
