§ 52.17 DUTY OF BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS PERTAINING TO FIRE PROTECTION.
   It shall be the duty of the Board of Public Works to see that all the public hydrants, wells and reservoirs are kept, at all times, in good condition and repair, and ready for use in case of fire, and to report to the Board of Aldermen any deficiency in the supply of water to any public hydrant.
