For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
LEAF WASTE AND YARD TRIMMINGS COLLECTION DAYS. Four Wednesdays in the month of November and/or such additional days as may be designated by the Superintendent of Waste Disposal.
LEAF WASTE AND YARD TRIMMINGS COLLECTION PERIOD. The month of November and during such additional times as designated by the Superintendent of Waste Disposal.
LEAF WASTE AND YARD TRIMMINGS COMPOSTING SITE. Those areas operated, maintained or designated by the Superintendent of Waste Disposal for the purpose of storing and/or disposing of leaf waste material.
LEAVES. Deciduous and coniferous seasonal deposition.
PAPER LEAF BAG. A sanitary Kraft paper sack or equal of 30-gallon capacity, two-ply 50-pound wet strength with decomposing glue and reinforced self-supporting square bottom closure.
RESIDENT. All persons or entities who are served by the city for the collection of solid waste.
YARD TRIMMINGS. Grass and lawn clippings, tree brush, twigs and branches.
