(A) Existing remedies not impaired. Civil and administrative remedies against public officials or employees, which are in existence on the effective date of this code, shall not be impaired.
(B) Supplemental remedies. Subject to the provisions of collective bargaining agreements, in addition to existing remedies for breach of the ethical standards of this chapter or regulations promulgated hereunder, the Board of Ethics may impose any one or more of the following:
(1) Oral or written warnings or reprimands;
(2) Suspension with or without pay for specified periods of time, if applicable; and
(3) Termination of employment.
(C) Right to recovery from public officials or employees for value received in breach of ethical standards. The value of anything received by a public official, employee or member of a board or commission in breach of the Charter of the city or the provisions of the code of ordinances or, regulations promulgated hereunder, shall be recoverable by the city as provided in § 39.103 (Recovery of Value Transferred or Received in Breach of Ethical Standards).
(D) Due process. All procedures under this chapter shall be exercised in accordance with due process requirements and existing law. In addition, notice and an opportunity for a hearing shall be provided prior to imposition of any suspension or termination of employment.
