§ 30.08 RESIDENCE REQUIREMENTS FOR EMPLOYEES OF UNCLASSIFIED SERVICE.
   (A) Any person hired, subsequent to January 1, 2003, by the city to the positions of Corporation Counsel or Chief of Staff to the Mayor must become a bona fide resident of the city within six months of the date he begins working for the city and shall remain a bona fide resident during the entire term of his employment.
   (B)   A BONA FIDE RESIDENT for the purpose of this section, is a person having permanent domicile within the city, which domicile has not been adopted with the intention of again taking up or claiming a previous residence acquired outside of the city limits.
   (C)   (1)   It shall be the duty of the Mayor to make certain that the persons listed in division (A) above comply with this section.
      (2)   The hiring of any person covered in this section after January 1, 2003 who fails to comply with the provisions of this section shall be void and the person shall be dismissed by the Mayor.
   (D)   (1)   The Mayor shall keep records of the addresses of the newly hired persons covered by this section.
      (2)   These records shall be open to inspection by the public.
