§ 37.042 COMPENSATION PLAN IN EFFECT.
   (A)   Effect of plan. The compensation plan in effect at the end of each fiscal year shall remain in operation until modified as provided by § 37.004(C) of the code of ordinances. It shall be considered a part of this section and have the same force and effect as these regulations.
   (B)   Maintaining a current plan. The Director of Human Resources shall conduct a periodic salary survey for classes of positions in the classified service, not covered by a collective bargaining agreement, and recommend a compensation plan for the approval of the Civil Service Commission.
   (C)   Adoption and amendment of the compensation plan. The compensation plan shall not be modified or changed unless submitted by the Civil Service Commission by a majority vote of a quorum of those present and voting. When approved by the Commission and the Board of Aldermen, the plan shall constitute the city's compensation schedule for classes of positions in the classified service not covered by a collective bargaining agreement for the ensuing fiscal year and thereafter until a new compensation plan shall be adopted in the manner prescribed.
