(A) The parking of any vehicle shall be prohibited on both sides of any street in this city when properly posted as such, and when the width of the roadway does not exceed 20 feet. Parking shall also be prohibited on 1 side of any street in this city when properly posted as such, and when the width of the roadway does not exceed 30 feet, but is more than 20 feet on the side upon which parking is to be prohibited. Whether or not it shall be so posted is to be determined by the Board of Public Works and Safety or the Common Council.
(B) No operator of a vehicle shall park the vehicle within 8 feet of either side of a private mailbox located in a street or avenue adjacent to a city thoroughfare in the city, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., Monday through Saturday of each week.
