The purpose of this chapter is to establish minimum standards to:
A. Reduce damage to lands used for Dispersed Camping in Washington County, including local wildlife, vegetation, soil, and other resources;
B. Increase the safety and enjoyment of persons engaged in Dispersed Camping and others recreating within Washington County; and
C. Assist local law enforcement officers in enforcing regulations enacted to accomplish the purposes listed in (A-B) of this Section. (2021-1187-O, 8-17-2021)
