7-2-12: ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION:
   A.   Damage To Reserve Resources: Disturbing, taking, removing, damaging, defacing, destroying, injuring, or collecting, or attempting to disturb, take, remove, damage, deface, destroy, injure, or collect any property within the reserve is prohibited, including, but not limited to, vegetation, ruins, wildlife, geological formations, archeological artifacts, structures, signs, markers, or facilities, except protected wildlife may be legally taken in accordance with state and local laws and vegetation unavoidably damaged or destroyed as part of an approved utility project. Collections for scientific and educational purposes may be made after obtaining appropriate federal, state, and HCP administration permits. As used in this section, "protected wildlife" and "take" or "taken" have the same meaning as defined in Utah code section 23-13-2.
   B.   Garbage, Rubbish, And Hazardous Materials: Disposing of garbage and rubbish of any kind, including hazardous materials or pollutants, other than at points or places designated for the disposal of materials is prohibited.
   C.   Discharge Of Wastewater: Discharging wastewater of any kind is prohibited.
   D.   Discharge Of Pool And Hot Tub Water: No pool or hot tub water shall be discharged into the reserve at any time.
   E.   Holes, Trenches, Or Other Excavations: Digging or excavating is prohibited, except as part of an authorized utility, fencing, road maintenance, trail maintenance, or other project authorized by the HCP administration or other applicable reserve manager.
   F.   Boundary Fences: Removal, relocation, alteration, modification, damage, and destruction of a reserve boundary fence is prohibited without written authorization from the HCP administrator. (Ord. 2008-959-O, 4-1-2008)
