A. Ex Officio Assessor: The county clerk/auditor is designated and appointed as the ex officio assessor of business license fees for the county.
B. Assessment Of License Fees: Upon the receipt of an application for a business license or a renewal thereof, the county clerk/auditor shall assess the amount due thereon and collect all license fees before he may issue or renew the business license.
C. Reporting Of Violations: The county clerk/auditor shall report any alleged violations of the provisions of this chapter to the county commission for enforcement action. (2004 Code)
