Fees shall be assessed for the issuance or renewal of any business license, including late fees, according to a fee schedule adopted by the County Commission. One-half (1/2) of the annual fee shall be payable for all licenses issued by the County pursuant to applications made after July 1 of each year. Licenses issued after July 1 shall expire on December 31 of the year the license was issued. The application provided for in this section shall be accompanied by the fees herein provided, which shall be deposited in the County Treasury if the license is granted, and returned to the applicant if denied.
