10-1-22: PENALTY:
   A.   Any firm, corporation, person or persons, or any action in behalf of such person, persons, firms or corporations, violating any of the provisions of this title shall be guilty of a class B misdemeanor punishable by a fine, not to exceed the maximum fine for a class B misdemeanor under Utah Code Ann. 75-3-301, but not by imprisonment. Prior to being charged with the first class B misdemeanor for a violation, the county shall provide the alleged violator with a minimum of two notices of violation, and each shall include a minimum ten (10)-day opportunity to cure. Thereafter, each day of a continued violation is a separate offense, punishable as provided in this title.
   B.   This section does not limit immediate enforcement of the building code, fire code, or a violation that endangers the health, safety, or welfare of individuals on the property, an identifiable third party, or the public. This section does not limit county's authority to pursue other remedies or enforcement provisions including civil penalties pursuant to local or State law.
