8-12-1: ROAD CLOSURES ON FEDERAL LAND:
   A.   The Federal land administrators shall coordinate with the County Commissioners and Sheriff to close any road under their management in the county where the Federal land resides.
   B.   The Sheriff has the authority under this chapter to open roads and areas on the spilt estate lands that are needed for public access and safety.
   C.   The Federal law enforcement officers operate under the Sheriff's authority and shall not enforce any laws upon the citizens of the county without permission of the Sheriff.
   D.   The county receives funds from the timber harvest, grazing and mineral extraction from the spilt estate land. Therefore the Federal Land Administrator shall allow and promote timber extraction, mining activities and grazing for the benefit of the citizens of the county as stated in, FLPMA of 1976, NFMA of 1976, and the Organic act of 1897.
