§ 150.015 PERMIT REQUIRED; EXCEPTION; APPLICATION AND PLANS.
   (A)   No person shall construct, erect, repair, alter or add to any building or other structure in the city until he has made application to and received from the Building Inspector a permit to do so. Each application shall be accompanied by plans in duplicate, drawn to scale in ink or in blueprint, showing actual shape and dimensions of the lot to be built upon, the exact location, size and height of the building and accessory building existing, the number of families or housekeeping units the building is designed to accommodate and the estimated cost of buildings for the purpose of this chapter. (Ord. 646, passed 5-11-55)
   (B)   No permit is required for ordinary maintenance or repair, nor for any construction or alteration which does not exceed $300 for both material and labor, unless an alteration changes the exterior lines or limits of the building, changes the number of living units therein or relates to the sanitary condition thereof, in all of which cases a building permit is required, regardless of cost.
