(A) A fee of 10% of the monthly charge for water and sewer shall be added to each bill 30 days following the previous billing date. The actual date of implementation of this additional charge may vary somewhat from a 30 day schedule depending on conflicts with holidays, weekends or other scheduling difficulties. This charge will coincide with the mailing of turn off notices and is intended to help offset the costs of this additional handling and processing.
(B) Once the late handling fee has been assessed and the service disconnected, no additional monthly penalties will be accumulated against the water and sewer bill. There will, however, continue to be assessed a base cost for water and sewer as indicated in § 54.03.
