§ 115.05  CLASSIFICATION OF LICENSES; FEE; CLOSING HOURS.
   (A)   Such licenses shall be and hereby divided into four classes, to-writ:
      (1)   Class A licenses, five licenses only, which shall authorize the retail sale on the premises specified of alcoholic liquor for consumption on the premises as well as retail sales of such liquor. The annual fee for such license shall be $450, payable in advance;
      (2)   Class B license, four licenses and four licenses only, which shall authorize the retail sale of alcoholic liquor, but not for consumption on the premises where sold. The annual fee for such license shall be $400, payable in advance;
      (3)   Class C license, two licenses and two licenses only, which shall authorize the retail sale on the premises of alcoholic liquors in any club for consumption on the premises. The annual fee for such licenses shall be $50, payable in advance; and
      (4)   Class D licence, two licenses and two licenses only, which shall authorize the retail sale of beer and wine in an outdoor location as part of a public activity which has been approved by the Board of Trustees. Class D licenses shall only be issued to civic, patriotic, fraternal, educational, religious, or benevolent organizations which have been in active and continuous existence for at least one year prior to the making of such application and which have been incorporated under the laws of the state. Applicants of Class D licenses shall submit proof of adequate dram shop insurance as required by the Illinois Liquor Control Act of 1934, as it is now or may hereafter be amended, prior to being issued such license. All applicants for a Class D license shall be filed at least four weeks prior to the event. The Mayor, however, may waive the four week filing requirement should he or she find that sufficient time remains prior to the event for the village and state to process the application. The fee for such license shall be $25, payable in advance.
   (B)   It shall be unlawful for the holders of Class B and Class C licenses to sell or offer for sale at retail any alcoholic liquor in the village between the hours of 1:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. on Monday through Thursday and between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
   (C)   It shall be unlawful for holders of Class A licenses to sell or offer for sale at retail any alcoholic liquor in the village between the hours of 1:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. on Monday through Thursday and between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday with the exception of the morning of January 1 of each year when all Class A licenses may sell or offer for sale at retail any alcoholic liquor in the village until 3:00 a.m.
   (D)   It shall be unlawful to keep open for business or to admit the public to any premises in or on which beer, wine, or other alcoholic liquor is sold at retail during the hours within which the sale of such beer, wine, or other alcoholic liquor is prohibited; provided that, in the case of restaurants, clubs, and hotels, such establishments may be kept open during such hours, but no beer, wine, or other alcoholic liquor may be sold to or consumed by the public during such hours.
