(A) It shall be unlawful for any person to leave any horse or mule, or any team, in any unenclosed or public place without being fastened, guarded, or secured so as to prevent its running away.
(B) It shall be unlawful for any person to willfully drive or entice any animal from beyond the inhabited part of the village into the same or to aid or abet the same, or to let any animal out of any enclosure in which it may be confined, or to aid or abet in the letting out or escape thereof in order to take up or impound the same.
(C) It shall be unlawful to keep any animal deemed wild or dangerous within the limits of the village.
(D) It shall be unlawful to keep any animal normally deemed a “farm animal” within the limits of the village except for beef cattle, sheep, goats, horses, ponies, mules, donkeys, and poultry. The maximum number of animals shall not exceed:
(1) Livestock: one animal per acre of fenced pasture; and/or
(2) Poultry: four animals per acre of fenced pasture.
(E) It shall be unlawful for any person to take out or tether any horse, mule, ass, cow, or other animal in any street or avenue, within the limits of the village, or to cause, suffer, or permit any such animal belonging to him or her or in his or her possession to be staked out or tethered in any street or avenue of the village.
