(A) Golf carts/ATVs/UTVs may not be operated on nor cross over the following village streets of the village which are under the jurisdiction of the state: State Route 89 (West Parkside Drive, Jefferson Street, and East State Street) or any other street, highway, and/or road under the jurisdiction of the Illinois Department of Transportation.
(B) Golf carts/ATVs/UTVs may not be operated on, but may directly cross over, the following village streets of the village:
(1) East Parkside Drive; and
(2) Any truck routes other than State Route 89.
(C) Except as provided for herein, and except in accordance with state law, golf carts/ATVs/UTVs may be operated on all other village streets where the posted speed limit is 35 mph or less.
(D) The owner and/or operator, jointly and severally, of any golf carts/ATVs/UTVs that is operated on the streets of village in violation of this section may be fined as provided in § 71.99. In addition, operation of a golf cart/ATV/UTV or any of the above described unapproved vehicles on village streets in violation of this subchapter is in violation of Illinois Vehicle Code, 625 ILCS 5/1-100 et seq., and subject to prosecution by the State’s Attorney.
