§ 51.044  CONNECTION COSTS AND CHARGES.
   (A)   All costs and expense incident to the installation and connection of the building sewer shall be borne by the owner. The owner shall indemnify the village from any loss or damage that may directly or indirectly be occasioned by the installation of the building sewer.
   (B)   The owner of the property seeking sewer connection shall pay a one-time connection fee to the village in the amount of $75, except that such connection fee shall be waived for all connections occurring during the 2000 calendar year. Further, and without limitation to this or any future calendar year, any such connection may be performed by the owner or agent of the residential or commercial property, but such owner must submit a certification, in writing, from a licensed plumber that the connection was properly made. It shall be an indispensable condition for issuance of any permit that an inspector representing the village shall be present to inspect and approve the connection. All such connections shall be six-inch connections in the form and specification outlined herein.
