The Legislature of the Commonwealth of Kentucky has in Kentucky Revised Statutes 82.082 delegated to local government units the authority to adopt regulations designed to promote the public health, safety, and general welfare of its citizenry. Therefore, the City Council of Warsaw, Kentucky, hereby adopts the following floodplain management ordinance, as follows.
