§ 110.04 DATE AND DURATION OF LICENSE.
   (A)   The license fiscal year for the city shall begin on July 1 and end on June 30 of the following year. Any person, firm or corporation beginning a taxed business or undertaking upon a taxed occupation after the first month of any fiscal year, shall procure a license to do so by paying such part of annual license tax for such business or occupation as the months to run to the end of the fiscal year bear to the entire fiscal year, plus 10% of such annual license tax. Provided, however, that the minimum license fee charged hereunder shall be based on six months.
   (B)   Any person failing to obtain a license and said person continuing to fail to obtain a license for more that 30 days after the expiration of the old license shall be charged a 10% penalty. If that same person continues to fail to obtain a license as required above shall be subject to a 10% interest per annum.
   (C)   Any person failing to obtain an occupational license as required above shall not be permitted to form their business within the city limits. (Ord. 220.7, passed 6-9-86; Am. Ord. 220.8, passed 7-9-90; Am. Ord. 220.8, passed 6-10-91)
   (B)   In no event shall a license be granted to any business or any person for a longer time than one year.
