Once each year, the city may show in the local newspaper with the largest circulation which industrial users were significantly violating pretreatment standards. A significant violation is one which: remains uncorrected 45 days after notification of noncompliance, is part of a pattern of noncompliance over a 12-month period, involves a failure to accurately report noncompliance, or results in the city taking emergency action.
