§ 39.03 BOARD MEMBERSHIP.
   (A)   The Warsaw Code Enforcement Board shall consist of five members and two alternates appointed by the Mayor with approval of City Council.
   (B)   The terms of the members and alternate members of the Board shall be for three years.
   (C)   However, the terms of the initial Board members and alternate members shall be staggered as follows:
      (1)   One member shall be appointed for a term of one year;
      (2)   Two members shall be appointed for a term of two years;
      (3)   Two members shall be appointed for a term of three years;
      (4)   One alternate member shall be appointed for a term of one year; and
      (5)   One alternate member shall be appointed for a term of two years.
   (D)   Membership requirements, vacancies, removal and oaths of members shall be as required by statute. Each member of the Board shall have resided within the boundaries of the city for a period of at least one year prior to the date of the member's appointment and shall reside there throughout the term in office. Board members must take the oath of office prescribed in Section 228 of the Kentucky Constitution and as required by KRS 68.8811.
   (E)   The City Council may provide compensation, reimbursement for expenses and education of members as it may from time to time order.
   (F)   A Board member may be removed from office by the executive authority for misconduct, inefficiency or willful neglect of duty.
   (G)   No member of the Board may hold any elected or appointed office, paid or unpaid, or any position of employment with the city.
