Whoever violates any provision of Section 511.02 is guilty of a minor misdemeanor on a first offense; on a second offense within one year after the first offense, the person is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree; on a third offense and each subsequent offense within one year after the first offense, the person is guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree. Whoever violates any provision of the remaining Sections of this chapter is guilty of a first degree misdemeanor. The penalties shall be as provided in Section 501.99.
