331.43 PLAYING OF SOUND DEVICES IN MOTOR VEHICLES PROHIBITED.
   (a)   No person shall play any radio, music player, cassette player, compact disc player, audio system or any similar device in a motor vehicle at such volume so as to disturb the quiet, comfort or repose of other persons.
   (b)   Whoever violates this section is subject to the penalty provided in subsection (d) hereof. In addition, the equipment or device used in the commission of a violation of this section is hereby declared to be contraband and shall be seized and disposed of in accordance with Ohio R.C. 2943.33.
   (c)   Each day upon which a violation occurs or continues shall be a separate offense and punishable as such pursuant to subsection (d) hereof.
   (d)   Whoever violates this section is guilty of a first degree misdemeanor and penalties shall be as provided in Section 303.99.
